Biography

Bernard Warren is responsible for the overall management and daily operations of the FCBSI project. Currently there are thirty one awarded contractors in twenty three states and the District of Columbia.

Bernard Warren is the CEO/Managing Director of Bernard Warren Associates (BWA), a management consultant firm based in Silver Spring, Maryland. BWA focuses on providing planning, training and technical assistance to non-profit community based organizations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration from American University School of Public Affairs in Washington, DC. Training provided includes but is not limited to Leadership Development, Planning Councils, Board Development, Strategic Planning, Resource Development Planning, Community Advisory Board Participation Collaboration and Partnerships and Meeting/Committee Management.

He is currently on staff as a Project Director for Westover Consultants, Inc., of Bethesda, Maryland. Mr. Warren is responsible for providing fiscal and programmatic oversight for the Center for Substance Abuse Program-funded Faith- and Community-Based Initiative contract. Develops coalitions among local organizations to promote greater use of community resources for HIV and substance abuse treatment and prevention. Ensures that all deliverables and other contractual obligations are met consistently and in a timely manner.
