Senior Conference Manager

Dynamic Government contractor in Bethesda, Maryland seeks senior level Conference Manager to support federal government contracts.  Must have prior work experience in the government contracting arena and familiarity with federal regulations governing travel, meeting site selection, etc. 

The Senior Conference Manager will provide leadership and oversight of conference and meeting/event planning, including site selection, hotel contract negotiations, vendor negotiations, travel arrangements, Web-based and onsite registration, on-site support and post conference follow-up, customer service and written and verbal communications. Dynamic Bethesda-based management consulting firm seeks an Information Technology Director (IT) to lead and grow  a small Information Technology Services Division (ITSD). Must have prior government contracting IT experience and proven success record in marketing and new business development, as well as managing federal IT contracts effectively, strategic business planning, budgeting, and applying outstanding customer service skills in the government contracting market. Using expert technical skills and proven leadership abilities, the IT Director will develop, implement, and monitor procedures to ensure high performance on each ITSD contract that meets or exceeds all client and corporate expectations. Additionally, the IT Director should possess strong familiarity with open source content management systems such as Joomla and WordPress, proficiency with project management tools and procedures, analytical ability, sound managerial judgment, and capacity to think strategically and multi-dimensionally.
